Doesn’t taste the best, a little grainy, Even when I added it to my Blended shakes. I guess that’s expected being that it doesn’t have a lot of additives.
Great protein that mixes super well and isn’t gross.
I have tried 2 flavors of Vegan Protein Powder and one with whey. All were way too sweet and both flavors of the Vegan Powder gave me heartburn. I chose Transparent because of their ingredients but it's not working for me. Also, the Whey protein powder caused my Total Estrogen levels to spike way out of range. Once I stopped the whey they came back down to normal. This could be because I believe most whey is sourced from pregnant cows. I really wanted to love their products.
This has quickly become my favorite plant based protein. Flavors don't taste artificial, and I like the no-nonsense formula with a small number of ingredients. Most other vegan proteins on the market now have all sorts of things I can supplement elsewhere, and don't need their proprietary blends in my protein, I just want protein! Transparent Labs delivers the clean, organic vegan protein, and nothing I don't want.
I love the chocolate organic vegan rice and pea protein powder. I gave this a shot just out of curiosity and found it much easier to digest than normal whey protein. Doesn’t cause any boating or other digestive issues. And it tastes great.
