Super Easy and Delicious Grilled Chicken

We eat a lot of chicken here at Transparent Labs. Chicken is a great, relatively lean meat with high amount of protein. It's great for both bulking and cutting. 

For fast, delicious chicken, follow these instructions...


  • Chicken breast
  • Olive oil
  • Basil
  • Garlic Salt


Pre-heat grill (a George Foreman with temperature control works too) to 400-450 degrees.

Defrost chicken if frozen (in bowl of water works best - microwave is fine too but dehydrates the meat a bit). 

Spread thin coating of olive oil over both sides of chicken. Lightly sprinkle basil over both sides. Lightly sprinkle garlic salt over both sides. Amounts depending on personal preference. 

Once grill is preheated, grill chicken for 4 minutes on both sides. 

Meal Options

  • With guacamole (my personal favorite)
  • With Rice
  • With corn and black beens mixed
  • By itself

    Very easy and satisfying for a quick meal. I opt out for garlic salt though and add garlic powder and a pinch of salt so as to control the amount of salt I’m adding. Some oregano can also help with the Italian vibe.
